Radiology
In radiology, we perform imaging studies such as mammography, bone densitometry, dermatoscan and ultrasound. These examinations help map bone quality, skin abnormalities and internal structures, among other things, and detect possible abnormalities in time.

Radiologists with experience and precision
Our radiologists are highly trained and have years of experience in interpreting medical images. Thanks to modern equipment and careful analysis, we provide reliable results you and your doctor can trust. With us, you are in expert hands.
What is covered by radiological examination?
At Doktershuis Antverpia, we carry out various imaging examinations to assess your health. Which examinations are needed depends on your symptoms and the doctor's request. We always ensure a personal and safe approach. In doubt as to whether a radiological examination is necessary? We are happy to think along with you.

Mammography
A mammogram is an X-ray examination of the breasts that allows us to detect abnormalities, such as lumps or incipient breast cancer, early. It is an important part of preventive breast health care.

Bone densitometry
A bone densitometry, also known as a DEXA scan, measures the amount of mineral in your bones. This allows us to determine whether your bones are strong enough or weakened, and estimate the risk of osteoporosis and fractures.

Dermatoscan
A dermatoscan is a medical procedure used to examine and analyse the skin, especially for detecting skin cancer, such as melanoma, and other skin abnormalities. It is a non-invasive technology often used by dermatologists to monitor suspicious moles or skin changes.
Duplex survey
A duplex examination is a combination of ultrasound and measurement of blood flow in blood vessels. With it, we visualise arteries and veins, such as those in the neck, abdomen, legs or arms. This examination helps early detection and monitoring of narrowing, occlusion or dilation of blood vessels.

Ultrasounds
At Doctor's House Antverpia, we perform various ultrasounds to image the kidneys, bladder and prostate. These examinations use sound waves to safely and painlessly gather information about your urinary tract and genitals, without radiation exposure.
