EEG

An EEG (electroencephalography) is a medical test that measures the electrical activity of the brain. It is used to examine brain function and is often used to diagnose neurological disorders. During the test, electrodes are placed on the scalp, which record the brain's electrical signals.

What exactly does that mean?

Our strength is that you can consult a team of specialists during one appointment, as well as have a battery of medical examinations. Our team of specialists includes a cardiologist, internist gastroenterologist, vascular surgeon, urologist, nose-throat-ear specialist and gynaecologist. The screening is followed by a discussion with the specialist and, at the latest within a week, a complete medical report with the results and your personal recommendations (e.g. adjusting lifestyle, starting medication, referral to another specialist or for further examination, etc.).

Why an EEG?

An EEG (electroencephalogram) is a test that measures the brain's electrical activity through electrodes placed on the scalp. This test is often used to detect abnormalities in brain function. During the test, electrodes are stuck to your head and heart to measure your brain activity. The goal? Identifying disorders such as epilepsy, sleep problems, disorders of consciousness or other neurological conditions. An EEG provides valuable insight into brain activity and helps in making a correct diagnosis. Are you experiencing unexplained seizures, confusion or memory problems? An EEG can help identify the cause and intervene in time.

Do you have complaints or is it time for a general check-up?

An EEG can provide important clues to detect any health problems early.
