Clinical research in gastroenterology
Clinical examination is a medical evaluation in which a doctor assesses a patient's health through physical examination, tests and a medical interview. The aim is to detect possible conditions and make a diagnosis.
What exactly does that mean?
Our strength is that you can consult a team of specialists during one appointment, as well as have a battery of medical examinations. Our team of specialists includes a cardiologist, internist gastroenterologist, vascular surgeon, urologist, nose-throat-ear specialist and gynaecologist. The screening is followed by a discussion with the specialist and, at the latest within a week, a complete medical report with the results and your personal recommendations (e.g. adjusting lifestyle, starting medication, referral to another specialist or for further examination, etc.).
Why a clinical trial?
A clinical examination forms the basis of a proper medical diagnosis. During this examination, the doctor assesses your general health based on a detailed conversation (the anamnesis) and a physical examination. This includes checking your heart, lungs, abdomen, joints or nervous system - depending on your symptoms. The goal? Gaining insight into your health condition, detecting possible abnormalities and taking further steps for treatment or additional investigations if necessary. A clinical examination is often the first step towards a correct diagnosis and thus essential for effective treatment.
Do you have complaints or is it time for a general check-up?
A clinical examination can provide important clues to detect any health problems early.
