Dr Vandenput Ingrid
Dr Ingrid Vandenput studied medicine at KU Leuven and graduated in gynaecology and obstetrics in 2007. She then did a fellowship in gynaecological oncology and obtained her PhD in medical sciences in 2011. Until 2024, she worked as a gynaecological oncologist at the Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven and at AZ Turnhout. In recent years, Dr Vandenput noticed that complaints such as vaginal dryness and pain during intercourse still remain a taboo for many women, even though these problems are common. Moreover, standard treatments do not always prove suitable or adequate. This motivated her to further specialise in regenerative treatments for vulvo-vaginal complaints, with the aim of providing each woman with individual and tailor-made care. In doing so, she starts from the conviction that every woman has the right to feel good in her own body. Continuing education occupies a central place in her career. Dr Vandenput regularly attends (inter)national conferences, workshops and seminars to deepen and update her knowledge and skills. She is a member of the International Menopause Society, the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Diseases and the European Society of Aesthetic Gynaecology, among others. If you book an appointment at the Menopause Clinic at Doktershuis Antverpia, you will receive personalised care from Dr Ingrid Vandenput.
