Longevity (Fidlab)

MINI CHECK-UP

Would you like not only to know how you’re feeling today, but also to gain an insight into the factors that influence your health and the ageing process? With our Longevity assessment, based on a comprehensive Fidlab blood test, you’ll gain a more in-depth picture of your current health. In addition to standard blood test results, the assessment looks at factors such as inflammation, insulin resistance, cardiometabolic health, hormonal and nutritional balance, liver function and biological age. This gives you a broader picture of your current health and any areas requiring attention.

The research

The examination consists of two appointments with Dr De Cuyper. During the first appointment, a nurse will take a blood sample and you will meet the doctor for a personal consultation. Your health will be discussed during this consultation. As soon as the results of the blood test are available – on average after one week – a second appointment will be arranged for you. During this follow-up appointment, the doctor will discuss the results with you in detail and you will receive tailored advice based on your blood test results and your personal health situation.   Biological age – an estimate based on various health parameters  Inflammation – understanding the signs of chronic, low-grade inflammation  Insulin resistance – a factor in the development of metabolic health problems and type 2 diabetes  Cardiometabolic health – risk of cardiovascular disease and metabolism  Hormonal balance – relevant parameters that provide insight into hormonal health  Nutritional balance – an overview of various nutrition-related parameters  Liver stress and oxidative stress – factors that may indicate stress on the body The fee is €90.00 per consultation, excluding laboratory costs.
