Dr Berghmans Katrijn
Dr Katrijn Berghmans completed her medical training at UAntwerpen in 1997. She specialised in nose, throat and ear diseases and head and neck surgery at the University Hospital of Antwerp (assisted by Prof Van de Heyning) and at the AZ Middelheim (assisted by Prof Schmelzer). She obtained her accreditation in 2002. Since 2003, she has been a staff member and works at the NKO department within the ZAS hospitals, at the Sint Jozef campus in Mortsel ( of which she is deputy head of department) as well as at the Vincentius campus in Antwerp where she performs her surgical procedures.Besides general NKO ( adults and children), her specific interests are in rhinology/allergology and sleep pathology. drberghmans@doktershuisantverpia.com
