Dr De Laet Christophe
Dr Christophe De Laet obtained his master's degree in medicine in 2016 from the University of Antwerp with high distinction. He specialised as a urologist at the same university and did his assistantships at University Hospital Antwerp, GZA Sint-Augustinus, GZA Sint-Vincentius, Catharina Hospital Eindhoven and AZ Monica Deurne/Antwerp. In 2023, he also obtained his European recognition as 'Fellow of the European Board of Urology' (FEBU). He has authored several scientific publications and spoken at national and international conferences. Dr De Laet has a specific interest in oncological urology and robotic surgery. He underwent additional training for this purpose at the Oost-Limburg Hospital (ZOL) in Genk. Dr De Laet will focus on oncological urology and minimally invasive (robotic) surgery in addition to general urology. Here, he is specifically trained in retzius-sparing radical prostatectomy with faster recovery of urinary continence and taking prostate biopsies via transperineal route with less risk of infection. drdelaet@doktershuisantverpia.com
