Audiometry

Audiometry is a simple and painless hearing test with which we objectively map hearing. During the examination, we listen to tones of different volumes and frequencies through headphones.

What exactly does that mean?

Our strength is that you can consult a team of specialists during one appointment, as well as have a battery of medical examinations. Our team of specialists includes a cardiologist, internist gastroenterologist, vascular surgeon, urologist, nose-throat-ear specialist and gynaecologist. The screening is followed by a discussion with the specialist and, at the latest within a week, a complete medical report with the results and your personal recommendations (e.g. adjusting lifestyle, starting medication, referral to another specialist or for further examination, etc.).

Why an audiometry?

Audiometry is a simple and painless hearing test with which we objectively map hearing. During the examination, we listen to tones of different volumes and frequencies through headphones. The goal? This test helps identify hearing loss and distinguish between conductive loss (e.g. due to congestion or middle ear problems) and sensorineural loss (damage to the inner ear or auditory nerve). For complaints such as difficulty following conversations, tinnitus or deafness, a hearing test is a valuable first step.

Do you have complaints or is it time for a general check-up?

An audiometry can provide important clues to detect any health problems early.
